Within this framework, we are also obliged to create an accessibility statement and make it available to the general public in an accessible form. We take accessibility requirements very seriously and want to ensure the accessibility of the services we offer. With this accessibility statement, we therefore provide you with information about the accessibility of our services. This accessibility statement applies to brand.capriceshoes.com.
2. Information on accessibility
Within the scope of the BFSG, the service provider shall indicate in its general terms and conditions or in another clearly perceptible manner how it meets the accessibility requirements for its services.
2.1 Description of the applicable requirements
The services we offer fall within the scope of the BFSG, which sets requirements for the accessibility of products and services. Our services must therefore be accessible in accordance with Section 3 (1) sentence 1 BFSG. The specific requirements for the accessibility of services are based on the Ordinance on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services under the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act, BFSGV).
This ordinance contains general requirements for the accessibility of services, in particular in Section 12 BFSGV. According to this, websites and certain information about the functioning of the services and the products used must meet certain requirements in order to be findable, perceivable, operable, robust and understandable.
More specific requirements for the accessibility of services can be found in Sections 13 ff. BFSGV. For our e-commerce services, information on the accessibility of the products for sale and the services offered must be provided, and identification, authentication, security and payment functions within the scope of a service, as well as identification and authentication methods, electronic signatures and payment services provided, must be designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust (Section 19 BFSGV).
The requirements for the accessibility statement are derived from Section 14 (1) No. 2 BFSG in conjunction with the provisions of the BFSGV.
